Rockwall is where the jobs get bigger. Lake Ray Hubbard lots and the newer estate builds out east tend to want a full outdoor living space (covered structure, stone columns, somewhere to cook, and a walkway back to the house) rather than a single patio cover.
Wind off the lake is a real design factor on the exposed lots. A structure that would be fine three miles inland wants more in the footings and more thought about which way the open side faces.
These are the projects worth drawing properly before anyone prices them, because the order the pieces go in decides what they cost.
